The health and safety of our students is our top priority. As such, we will be implementing the following changes for our fall 2020 classes. These changes will help us control the safety of our students and run independently from the schools - so if they have to close, we can still offer classes if it is safe to do so. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fall 2020 classes will be held at our garage studio, which is located in the Westchester neighborhood off Mabry Rd. The address is:
4174 Greenwood Trace
Roswell, GA 30075
Instead of registering for a full semester, you will be registering per project. Each project is a total of 4 hours (2 class meetings that run 2 hours each). You can register your child for just 1 or for all 5 projects we are offering this semester (String Art, Zipper Pouches, Homemade Soap, Wooden Snowmen, Light-Up Christmas Trees). For now, we are offering three weekday sessions per project - one on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30, one on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30, and a middle school only class on Thursdays from 5:30 -7:30.
All sessions are open to kids grades 2-8 for this semester. Experienced crafters will be able to work more independently while beginners will receive more assistance. If your middle schooler prefers, they can join our middle school class on Thursday, which will be with other kids their age. We will open this class to younger ages if it does not fill.
COVID SAFETY & POLICY
Please note, classes this semester are limited to 9 students per class. Each child will be given their own workspace and will be kept distanced from others as much as possible. All garage doors will be kept open and fans will be used to move air out of the work area. If weather permits, our work spaces will be moved entirely outdoors. All shared supplies will be sanitized between use. All teachers and students will be required to wear masks. We will offer breathing breaks and relaxation zones so that the kiddos can remove their masks if they need some fresh air.
Completion of our regular waiver and a COVID waiver will be required for each student. These waivers include a pledge to check your student's temperature before class begins and to keep anyone home who has a fever above 100, is suffering from a cough or shortness of breath, or who has been in contact with someone with these symptoms or with a positive COVID test. All waivers must be returned before the start of the first class. Kids without a waiver will not be allowed to participate - no exceptions or refunds for unreturned waivers.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Any child who is ill should not attend class. If you need to cancel for illness, you can do so at any time and will receive a full refund. Cancellations for any other reason will also be assessed a $15 cancellation fee. If classes are cancelled by Skills & Frills, a full refund will be issued.
